Meetings.....

Well, today a very productive day though not terribly interesting blog-wise. In the morning we had a 4-hour meeting with the Pastoral Team. Yes, 4 hours. Very productive, but very long. We did have a break to have a delicious lunch of stuffed green beans, potatoes, a salad, and tortillas. I also got to see my little bird, Chiquita, again which was one of the highlights of my day. Then it was back to meetings. But this meeting was only an hour. Whew!!

Around 2:30 we had a brief respite when we left the house to go to the community of Alejandria to watch the swearing in of the new Directiva (community board) and water committee. It was great to get out into the pickup and head out to watch democracy at work.

The rest of the night was spent in deep conversation and reflection of the day.

Here are some photos from the day.
